China's titanium dioxide import and export data in June 2025

Titanium dioxide export data

According to customs data, my country's titanium dioxide in June 2025 was 131,900 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 25.20% and a month-on-month decrease of 2.72%. Among them, 107,500 tons were exported by sulfuric acid method, a month-on-month decrease of 2.89%; the top three export countries were: India, Turkey, and Vietnam; 24,400 tons were exported by chlorination method, a month-on-month decrease of 2.00%, and the top three export countries were: India, South Korea, and Vietnam.

In the first half of 2025, a total of about 916,600 tons of titanium dioxide were exported, a year-on-year decrease of 5.76%, a decrease of about 56,000 tons.

Chlorination method titanium dioxide exports were 177,200 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.04%; the top three export countries were: India, Egypt, and South Korea, accounting for 15.02%, 7.86%, and 7.60% of the total exports, respectively.

The export of titanium dioxide powder by sulfuric acid process was 739,300 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 6.39%; the top three export countries were India, Turkey and Brazil, accounting for 15.20%, 7.71% and 4.97% respectively.

Titanium dioxide import data

According to customs data, China imported 4,888.56 tons of titanium dioxide in June 2025, a year-on-year decrease of 35.23% and a month-on-month decrease of 34.54%. Among them, the import of chlorination process was 3,504.32 tons, and the top three import countries were Mexico, the United States and Australia; the import of sulphuric acid process was 1,384.14 tons, and the top three import countries were Australia, Japan and Germany.

In the first half of 2025, the total import of titanium dioxide was 39,700 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 16.69%. Among them, the import of titanium dioxide by sulfuric acid process was 16,100 tons, a year-on-year increase of 15.44%; the import of titanium dioxide by chloride process was 23,600 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 30.06%.
