Three major positive factors in the titanium dioxide market (July 15-July 18)

In early July, the titanium dioxide price market once again entered a period of stability after the price adjustment. The latest price policies of various manufacturers have been finalized, ranging from 100-300 yuan/ton. A small number of manufacturers maintain the original price and remain stable, and the market situation is much clearer. The price market in July still maintains a weak downward trend, but the prices of important raw and auxiliary materials such as sulfuric acid remain high and still have a strong trend. The costs of titanium dioxide manufacturers are high. In fact, according to the current price level, a considerable number of manufacturers are already operating at a loss.

Although the market is relatively weak, the rigid demand of users still exists, and the supply side has gradually derived positive factors.

First, for products with slightly higher prices, the spot is sufficient and the delivery speed is relatively fast, while for products with relatively lower prices, the supply is tight and the delivery speed is relatively slow, and some have to wait for 7-10 days;

Second, due to the high temperature in Southwest China and East China, some manufacturers in some regions have been restricted from electricity and reduced production, which has aggravated the tight supply situation to a certain extent;

Third, some users have taken stock operations based on their own understanding of the market situation, generally in large quantities.

There is no obvious sign of improvement in the weak market for the time being. Most users still adopt procurement to meet rigid needs, increase procurement frequency and reduce single procurement volume, and have a strong mood of price reduction and bargaining. Therefore, as a supplier, they often use profits to exchange orders, and users should not only look at the price, but also ensure the quality of the goods. Do not blindly pursue price and ignore quality.
