Details description

Wet-5348 is a special designed silicone coating additive.
Wet-5348 can used in aqueous coatings, adhesives, printing inks, overprint varnishes and care products with a strong reduction of surface tension and therefore an improvement of substrate wetting. Does not increase the surface slip. Suitable for systems that do not contain co-solvents. It can replace BYK-348.

Application:
Wet-5348 can used in aqueous coatings, solvent borne coatings, showing high performance wetting in substract like plastic & wood.
As supplied calculated on total formulation: 0.05-0.5 %
Wet-5348 may be added during any stage of prodcution, but is preferably added to the finished formulation.

2. Significant decrease in the surface tension of aqueous systems and therefore particularly improves substrate wetting and leveling
3. Suitable for substrate usually difficult to wet like plastic and wood.

Storage information:
Product has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of delivery and under the condition, that it is stored in factory-packed containers and protected against extreme weather conditions, particularly against heat and cold. The optimum storage temperature is in between 5°C and 40°C.
